Reflecting on Justice
Amy O has crafted a tightly structured reflection on a lifetime of struggle to do the right thing as person with a social conscience. Her honest, complicated, and often funny observations about the challenges of “taking a side” are especially apt for those trying to parce the nuances of race, gender and sexuality. She has distilled the play to a series of powerful vignettes that prompt the audience to see shades of grey where we might be tempted to be reductive. Highly recommended!
