How to sum up modern times in beauty and dance
Who knew a performance about angst and pain could be so beautiful, thought-provoking, and, yes, fun? Widening the Circle combined dance, video visuals, some music, some words, and even silence to address the joys and horrors of today’s world as seen from a woman’s perspective. Both performers were talented and expressive and riveting (pun intended to one of their works!). The show was a nice balance of heavy and light, with even some audience interaction that really brought you into their world. More kittens, please!
