Saturday Morning Scenes
Remember the good ol' days—pajamas, cereal, and Saturday morning TV? Corpus Dance Works does, and they’re taking us back! This piece is a decadent and delightful dance theater experience, featuring powerhouse dancers soaring and tumbling amidst a shifting sea of laundry piles. Lily Conforti’s choreography skillfully blends vivid imagery, modern dance acrobatics, and sparkling intricate gestures. Standout moments include a charming trio of cardboard box robots twirling and swirling, and a playful audience participation segment with soft aerobics. Kaitlyn Hawkins adds humor and heart with her engaging monologues and witty bits throughout. The whole show was fantastic, I’m ready for six seasons and a movie, please!
