Manasu: complex, witty and heartfelt

Even after having some familiarity with the script and the cast/crew, manasu was still an impressive show to watch. The characters had a lot of depth and complexity, which, along with the vulnerable and raw acting, gave it a very powerful feeling and the script was very intimate and dynamic, going from hunor to intense conflict effortlessly. These factors helped the play from otherwise becoming a melodramatic will they or won't they romance. The play may have been a bit too reliant on monologues, at times but even then the monologues still served the story well.
