Amazed by the talent!
This show was so awesome! The Southern was a perfect venue for this, it worked so well with their overall aesthetic and the crazy sound-scape. Seriously, the sound-scape might’ve been my favorite part… the songs were beautiful and the atmosphere they created with random working sounds— SO COOL! An incredible movement piece, very impactful, and full of talent!

Beach Boys fan approved!
What an incredible psychedelic journey with three Beach Boys and so many “fun fun fun” characters backing them up. The design for this show was also “wonderful,” with cool puppets, set/props, lighting, and the addition of a live band. I LOVED how much movement this piece had, it really added to all of its delightful chaos. And man, now I wish there was an all-girl Beach Boys cover band!! If you’re a true Pet Sounds lover, not only does this show feature some songs from the album, but it is also packed full of cheeky references and surprises for you. As a Beach Boys fan, I declare this a MUST SEE!
