Loved the Shadow Puppetry
A well put together show with talented cast. Loved the shadow puppetry, I wish it had been utilized more. I am not familiar with the original M so cannot speak to how this holds up as an adaptation, but I think it holds up quite well on its own merits.

Very Fun
A very fun little romp, a cute twist on a classic. The camp is perfect, and the vampiric references were mostly on point and hysterical. My one issue is naming one of the love interests Carmilla, who is very famously a lesbian.

Another Amazing Piece by Third Space
Theater at it's best. Third Space absolutely knows how to utilize whatever space they are in for maximum effect. Lighting design was gorgeous, everyone in the show are incredibly talented. The story itself was compelling, unsettling in the way I want from a horror production. Be Not Afraid is absolute a Fringe must-see.

Not worth the extra time
Talented cast but not much else. Audio production was very bad, music/voices were not well balanced and mics were overkill in the small space. Pacing was very bad and the writing failed to get me invested in the story and the characters. There was way too much going on for a singular, short show (Italy, Vegas, 70s AND 80s). There needed to be more editing down to the important pieces of the story and character relationships. The murder has no emotional impact as the character who was killed was written to be incredibly unlikable, and I did not care who killed them or why. Audience participation really only happens at the end of Act 1 and Act 2, but because of the failure to be invested it wasn't worth it to stay and me and my party ended up leaving during intermission.
