I had a great time with this one! The puppets themselves are SO cool, and the puppetry of the artists on stage is excellent. A poignant fantasy that drives home an important reminder that, unless we face and deal with our past traumas and insecurities, we can never truly move forward in life. A great show with a great cast and a lot of heart. Go see it, and consider getting a little unicorn of your own from them while you're there!

This is Peak Theatre

I was absolutely blown away by this one. It's maybe the most tightly-rehearsed show I've ever seen at Fringe - the story clips along at a masterful pace, driven by an incredibly talented and cohesive ensemble and underscored by absolutely gorgeous Irish folk-like music underneath. I was invested in every single character, which is a testament not only to the writing of the adaptation, but also the wonderful character work that every member of the cast put in. I found myself choking up at what seemed to be the most random moments, simply because I was so enraptured with the beautiful theatre going on in front of me. This is an hour-long journey I would take over and over again if I could. DO NOT miss this one!
