Forlorn lesbian love
If you have ever had the experience of being head over heels in love with a woman who you sure could never love you back, then the tormented love story between Roxanne and Cyrano will probably feel relatable. And of course a couple other love/longing triangles thrown in just for fun. I was really impressed with the caliber of acting and the depth of emotional storytelling in such a short version of this normally three hour play. At times irreverent, at other times heartbreaking, this is a beautifully done show definitely worth seeing.
