Good cut with a great cast

This version of Cyrano in 60 minutes manages to set the arc of Cyrano's betrayal in the midst of success, notoriety, and companionship. The shifts between the ensembles love for the leading cast (Roxanne, Cyrano, and Christian) and the deep insecurity and fears found in the lovers are a stark contrast to paint across a tragic story. Roxanne's depth of love both romantic and platonic is explosive, Christians desperation and hopelessness is relatable, and Cyrano's frustratingly uncontrollable insecurities in herself drag us into a painful cycle that showcase the detriment in life one can face when failing to be truthful with those you love.
