Wow!
I was transported back to Operation Metro Surge, and all of my still raw emotions, fear for my neighbors, fury at both the thugs invading my city and MAGA that put them there, and fierce pride for our community’s response. My fear and fury are still unprocessed because this administration continues to dismantle our democracy, growing my fear, disgust, and fury.. This is theatre at its best, an experience of what we lived through and a love letter to Minneapolis. I hope this documentary play grows into a two hour version. It may need a trigger warning, I had trouble falling asleep. Thank you to Mr Manning for putting together the testimonies and interviews so well.
