A bit too much of a political rally
I had expected that we would learn something about what the four women accomplished in their time in the legislature. We did lean a good bit about there background, but nothing about what they did. At times the dialogue seemed a bit forced and was sometimes delivered awkwardly.

Very enjoyable
I enjoyed this show greatly and I recommend it without hesitation.

Show: Cyrano

Worth seeing but probably not a top choice
I wondered how much of a straight-line version of Cyrano this would be, and it adhered pretty much to the outline of the play with the exception of Cyrano being a woman. The show's description described it as "a queer heroic comedy," surprisingly little was made of this one bit of gender-bending. The show seemed to me to start out rather slowly, but the pacing picked during the last third of the hour. The acting was uneven, and some members of the cast did not enunciate particularly well. Perhaps these issues will be resolved in later performances.

Marvelous production
The production captured the expressionist intent of the author of this play from 100 years ago. The cast was extremely well-rehearsed and all of the performances were excellent.
