A play about kindness
If you've ever participated in community theater, trust me, you will relate. But the part that felt new was the clarity that yes, it's okay to do this for fun, a social outlet, or an opportunity to learn something new. It's about the community in theater and how to be kind. The ending had me smiling, big time. Congratulations to the fantastic ensemble! You all brought something amazing and memorable. Check this one out, and maybe think about what you learned the next time you feel the urge to post a 1 kitty review....

They just may be the lunatics you're looking for
This is a super accessible, rough and tumble show about bipolar disorder that avoids getting too maudlin or self-indulgent, even when the actors are sharing some tough moments from their personal lives and struggles. As much as I hate talk-backs, this show almost needs it because it demands a little extra processing and commiserating. Kudos to these three very engaging actors and their terrific chemistry. Also the Phoenix for hosting shows about mental health!
