Refreshingly Raw

Michael was so vulnerable and honest with this show, I was absolutely blown away. This show will be on my mind for a long time. Thank you Michael for bearing your soul to the audience. Thank you for being a brave captain guiding us to a meaningful healing process, thank you.

Intriguing vulnerability and stories

Company: Deft Pictures
Show: Secrets Under the Christmas Tree: A Deedee Wallaby Mystery
Venue: Open Eye Theatre

Really fun show

I was very entertained with this show! It's a knives out mystery meets a 90s Christmas comedy. The acting and timing was very comical and effective. I'd definitely go check it out if you want a good laugh!

Company: 8:20 Dance Company
Show: Pieces of Me/ Shadows
Venue: The Southern Theater

Breathtaking!

This show was breathtakingly beautiful. I am not the most knowledgeable on things dance related but the music selection was amazing and I was brought to tears simply because of the art that was being displayed. Even if you aren't one to typically go to a dance show, check this one out and immerse yourself in it, you won't be dissapointed!

Company: Eye of Jupiter Theatre
Show: The Greenhouse
Venue: The Southern Theater

Definitely worth the watch!

LOVED this show! Thought provoking and deep that will make you ponder life, death, and your place in impacting change in the world. I was very pleased with many choices made but their musical choices stood out the most to me, minimalistic but very effective violin and vocal motifs added so much to the story. Each actor embraced their character fully, "poppy" was particularly great. I left deep in thought and wanting to see more of what this group of artists has to say!

Company: Juliet & Juliet
Show: Juliet & Juliet: Improvised Shakespeare
Venue: Theatre in the Round

A MUST see

Funny, energetic, brilliant, creative and innovative. Their ability to keep the plot lines straight and tie them up within an hour all while staying within the language of the time was just *chef's kiss*
