Spooky Silly Fun!
This is my favorite show I've seen at Fringe this year. What a unique concept, and the use of the space was impeccable. The actors were so in synch with each other that they truly seemed like they were two halves of one whole being. I laughed the entire time and even walked away having learned a little more about myself. What more could you ask of a 50-minute clowning act? HIGHLY recommend!!!

Nice On Paper, Poor Execution
The concept of the show is well-developed, the plot snappy, the songs catchy. Unfortunately, the performances given were lack-luster. A few of the actors had absolutely gorgeous voices, though! There is definitely potential here.

Good Show With A Standout Performance
I was curious (and perhaps a bit skeptical) to see how Cyrano could possibly be presented in under an hour and walked away pleasantly surprised with this compact but passionate production. Emotion pulsed through the show, carried by the clever language of Christ's adaptation. There were times when the pacing felt a bit rushed, which is understandable considering the original play is around 3 hours long. Though there was strong acting across the cast, the clear standout performance was given by Hennen, who brought to life the best rendition of Roxane that I've seen on stage or screen. Powerful and present, cheeky and tragic, we hope to see much more of her on Twin Cities stages in the future. A job well done all around!
