Patrick O'Brien
Producer, co-director, actorPat returned to Minnesota after 25 years in New York and LA. He's been in dozens of films including "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Pleasantville", "Stuart Little", and the Coen Brothers' "Intolerable Cruelty". TV credits include "Monk", "Married With Children", "Night Court", "Home Improvement", "The Wonder Years", and, if you're in your 40's, was Mr. Dewey on "Saved By The Bell". He's been seen on the Fringe circuit in "Underneath the Lintel", "The Fever", and "Whisper Into My Good Ear". He's a 1975 grad of UWEC.
Larry Ripp
announcer, co-directorLawrence Ripp hails from Door County Wi. where his career was radio announcing for 10 years from 1969 to 1979. Since then Larry has been more or less continuously busy with various theater projects as an actor, producer, director, and playwright. Larry has produced 6 self written plays as well as many other creative adaptations of the work of others. The two things Larry is most proud of is his Renaissance character Sir Sydney Soapington "The Baron Of Bubble!", and his association with Patrick Thomas'Brien, a nationally known actor who's also now based in the Twin Cities. Patrick and Larry have toured internationally with the fringe circuit with the plays Whisper into my good ear and Heroes
Richard Chin
AuthorRichard Chin (author & co producer) is a longtime Twin Cities newspaper reporter and sometimes playwright. His interest in the Minnesota Starvation Experiment began when he wrote a newspaper story about the experiment and interviewed some of the surviving test subjects. He also once produced a Minnesota Fringe Show called “Fartosaurus Rex.”

Actor (Sam)Samuel Ahern is honored to be working with these crazy talented people-- including such a talented writer-- and to be able to show this fascinating local true story to Fringe audiences. John Gottskalkson
Actor (Joseph Brozek)John Gottskalkson has been working with Larry Ripp for quite a few years now including performing in The Three Way in last year’s Fringe festival. John has performed on many stages around the Twin Cities and the upper Midwest including Park Square, TRP, Lex Ham Theater and touring with a production of Tom Stoppard’s, Heroes. (with Larry Ripp and Pat O’ Brien). He hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Actor (Henry)Elliot Drolet is in the Fringe again. He’s an actor based in Minneapolis who’s been seen on stage in shows produced by Theatre Pro Rata, Classical Actors Ensemble, Theater in the Round, and more. He’s a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University. Last year he was in The Three Way at the Fringe with Larry Ripp and John Gottskalkson
Coleson Eldredge
Actor (Max)Coleson Eldredge is an upcoming senior in the UMN/Guthrie BFA Acting Training Program! He’s acted in Hamlet, This is Our Youth, Junk, and The Bakkhai. He has also just finished working on A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Frosted Glass Creative and is so excited to be participating in Minnesota Fringe with his wonderful cast-mates!
Mickaylee Shaughnessy
Actor (Eileen, Server)Mickaylee Shaughnessy has been performing in the Twin Cities for almost twenty years. She has worked with Umbrella Collective, Green T Productions, HardCover Theater, Six Elements Theater, Crommulent Shakespeare and Phoenix Arts Nest, to name a few. She was recently seen in Action Will Be Taken at last years Fringe, and Mr. Blanchards Secret, both produced by Larry Ripp. You can also find her in Playback Time 'n this years' fringe festival .
Vickijoan Keck
Actor (Diner, Nurse)Vickijoan Keck is a storyteller, actress, poet who especially enjoys telling folktales and whimsical rhymes by the likes of Edward Lear, A.A. Milne and Ogden Nash. She is also a balloon twist artist and The Baron of Bubbles’ First Lady of Foam! She also has a ton of acting experience, most recently in Mr. Blanchards Secret at the BLB. She is thrilled to be working with this fantastic group of actors on this show. She is the former co owner of Ivy Arts Copy & Print in Minneapolis and now does design work and performing via her small business VJK Creative
