More Information

A horse will walk out on stage and die. It's really all in the title. Not much of a "more information" kind of show.

A Horse Walks Out Onto The Stage And Dies - Cast and Crew

SAM SWEERE (Horse) - Sam (he/him) is proud to be sharing his first attempt at writing and producing a show with you! He’s also rather new to the fringe as this is only his second year with any involvement in the festival. He’d love to meet you and hear your thoughts. He worked on this show for quite a while!

HANNAH STEBLAY (Director) - Hannah (she/her) is so happy to have been invited on this crazy horse journey by her former student, Sam. Next up she is assisting on Drawing Lessons at the Children's Theater Company and is a proud parent of two amazing kids, Stella and Hazel. She'd like to thank her partner Lucas for being an incredible support wing and Sam for asking her to come along for the ride.

ANNIKA BAKKE (Assistant Director/Cat Swing/Puppeteer) - Annika (she/they) is excited to be involved in her first Fringe Show! She is going to be a freshman in the UMN Duluth’s BFA program for Musical Theatre and is also currently performing in Education Theatre Community's summer tour of Shrek Jr., as well as teaching/directing theatre camps and classes for ETC!

KATE BAKKE (Stage Manager/Scenic Design) - Besides working on this show, Kate (she/her) also works on Education Theater Community’s summer tour of Shrek Jr. as a production assistant/stage management swing. She is going to attend UMN Duluth in the fall as a freshman studying scenic design as a part of the BFA program.

BEAU BAUER (Farmer/Puppeteer) - Beau (he/him) is thrilled to be making his debut in the Fringe Festival! He has been acting since he was in 8th grade and has starred in many roles such as Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and JD in Heathers. When he isn't performing at the fringe, you can find Beau taking on the title role of Shrek the musical at ETC Productions!

MARSH KELLY (Tech Guy/Cat) - Marsh (he/him) is a costume designer, actor, real life “tech guy”, and Shakespeare scholar at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. This is his second time participating in the Fringe Festival, and he’s delighted to have the chance to collaborate with Sam and Hannah. He would like to shout out his artist/producer friends and collaborators in other brilliant 2024 MN Fringe Shows, including but not limited to: Interstella 5555: A Daft Punk Discovery, Seance Sisters, The Zoo Story, and Love Lies A Bleeding.
