Maureen Bourgeois
Co-creator, Writer, Director, “Isabelle”, “Persephone”, “Isabelle Grace O’Connor”, “Sheila”Maureen L. Bourgeois is a Twin Cities based performer, writer, and director. “P.I.M - Perpetual Imagined Movement” is the 7th play that Maureen has brought to the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and she is excited to have 2024 be the 10th season that she has been involved with the festival (having also directed or performed with other companies, or been an employee or volunteer various years since 2015). In addition, she has also been a prop designer for numerous productions at Mixed Blood Theatre and Theatre in the Round. Maureen loves performing and, after a performance break, has been seen onstage in several recent A Drinking Game Minnesota’s staged readings. Her other previous performance credits have included: Threshold Theatre staged readings, “45’s 24: A Collaborative Theatre Action”, “Witness for the Prosecution”, “Pope Joan: The First Transgender Pope”, Theatre in the Round’s “Murder on the Nile” and “Fahrenheit 451”, and as an extra in the web series "Theater People". In addition to performing, Maureen also works as a Standardized Patient Trainer, Patient Educator, and Standardized Patient/Client at the University of Minnesota, and as a Crisis Intervention Actor using her performance and education background to help people work on interpersonal skills.
Jex Arzayus
“Phil”, History-based Improvisation“P.I.M - Perpetual Imagined Movement” is Jex Arzayus’ second production with Lady Z Productions, following their debut with “Choose Your Own Fringe Adventure” in Summer 2023. Jex is a local improviser, actor, and teacher performing at several Twin Cities locations including Huge Theatre. In 2023, Jex wrote, directed, and starred in “Lock-In” during the Twin Cities Horror Festival. Jex has produced and directed plays with The Band Group, including the 2019/2020 production “Madwoman of Minneapolis”.
Chris Mattson
“Malcolm”Lady Z Productions is excited to work with Chris Mattson for a third Minnesota Fringe Festival production. Chris has been a tremendous supporter, having contributed in numerous Lady Z Productions play readings and staged productions since 2013 and is excited to join Lady Z Productions again for their 2024 Fringe Production after being a part of “Daybreak Diner” (2022) and “Choose Your Own Fringe Adventure” (2023). In addition to exploring performing, Chris works as an HVAC Controls Technician ; plays boardgames with his partner (and cruise explorer) of 13 years, Sam; and loves attending fan run conventions both locally and across the country.
Travis Salisbury
Co-CreatorLady Z Productions is excited to collaborate with Travis on the production of “P.I.M - Perpetual Imagined Movement”. Travis created the concept of the play and the characters, taking an idea of using Saint Paul history and sharing it using a storyteller and acted out scenes. He has been a supporter of Lady Z Productions since 2013, in pre-production planning and as an audience member.

Perpetual Imagined Movement is the art of using storytelling, narration, and scripted historical fiction to share the lives and experiences of a community of people.
