Avant-garde, but interesting

The show opened with an "audience breathing exercise" which made me worried--is this what the whole show will be? But they moved on to some powerful dance sequences, moving into synchronicity and then decaying to entropy, then some tortured seizure-type movements, and back. Costuming was asymmetrical, shiny black; this actually worked well, glimmering through the darkness as the dancers moved between lights. There was another point of audience participation (asking for words to improvise a sequence too), which was less clear, and harder to turn into an improvised rhythm. I was particularly impressed with the embodiment/fluidity of Trishawna Woods, even to the shapes her arms and fingers made. And some impressive tumbling! Overall this was bizarre, weird and interesting. If that doesn't scare you, enjoy!

I don't watch a lot of dance, but really enjoyed this! Everything was abstract but I still felt like I was watching a story unfold and a conversation between the dancers who were each bringing in their own styles. The ballroom/vogue section was a highlight. Beautful costumes and creative use of lighting too.

Fabulous Show!

This is an amazing performance. The movement grabs you and takes you along for the ride. Fantastic use of the space. If you like dance, this is a must. If dance isn't your primary thing, this show is a great entry to what it can be.

A mind shifting performance that keeps you engaged the whole journey. Absolutely incredible movers, super present in their performance. Would see this again & again.

I came for a dance performance not a breathing lesson. Show did have a couple of good spots but they were short and far between.

Engaging, Physical, Ecstatic

From the opening low-stakes audience participation to the ending gestural sequence, I felt very invited to show up however I was and to engage with the audience members around me and the performers on stage. It felt at times like I was back in composition class, and I mean that in the best way. I emerged not entirely sure how the forty-five minutes (during some of which I was definitely grooving in my seat) had passed by so quickly, but grateful I had been part of it, and bursting with desire to move and create. Thank you thank you thank you.
