Bee Davis
Charlene and The Goose
Bee Davis is a Twin Cities based actor and Melancholics company member. Their recent credits include Beanie Baby Divorce Play, The World is Ending and A Girl Scout’s Guide with Melancholics and Hamlet with Novagrex Theatre. They serve on the board of MA as the Director of Development and have been in past MA Fringe productions as Dad in Beanie Baby Divorce Play and Fudge in A Girl Scouts Guide to Exorcism. She is Melancholics’ graphic designer and you may have seen her in some of their previous productions like A Girl Scouts Guide to Exorcism and Beanie Baby Divorce Play, as well as a reading of Staples Play in last year’s New Play Series. Meredith loves complicated board games and begging her coworkers to discuss overly detailed hypothetical situations with her.

Carson Uthe (he/him) couldn’t be more excited for his first Fringe! Recent credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Thin Air Theatre Company), The World is Ending and Maybe That’s Kinda Hot (Melancholics Anonymous), Little Shop of Horrors and As You Like It (Theatre UNI). Mady Smith
Set/Props Coordinator
Mady Smith (she/her) is proud to be Melancholics Anonymous’ very own set/props wrangler. When not buried in a mountain of half-finished crafts, she’s a registered nurse and doctoral student at the University of Minnesota, studying to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. More Information

Shall I rise from the dead, and come back to you a living woman? …Must I burn again? Are none of you ready to receive me?” - Saint Joan by George Bernard Shaw

From the company that brought you the sold out shows Beanie Baby Divorce Play (2024) and A Girl Scout’s Guide to Exorcism (2023) comes a glitzy new satirical romp!  Inspired by films including Drop Dead Gorgeous and Miss Congeniality, Joan of Arc for Miss Teen Queen USA is a fiercely feminist skewering of the pageant industry and a love letter to the ultimate teenage girlboss in history.

(Think TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras, but all grown up with excessive glitter and angst and a holy goose.)

Melancholics Anonymous, winner of five MN Fringe awards (2024 Audience Pick, 2023 Venue Pick, Artist Pick, Audience Pick and 2022 Venue Pick), is thrilled to return to the Minnesota Fringe for their 7th year in a row! Established at St. Olaf College in 2019 and now based in the Twin Cities, Melancholics is an independent theater company dedicated to creating eccentric original works and championing new play development.
