Cleo Torres

Cleo Torres (she/her) is a performing artist who brings mastery of pole, burlesque, drag, stilt walking, and dance to the stages and festivals of the Midwest. She has been a dancer since she could first stand, from ballet classes her mother hoped would tire her out (spoiler: they didn’t) to cumbias and norteño polkas at family gatherings and two-step and waltzes at a small-town bar with her parents. In the decades since, Cleo has explored dozens of dance styles and expanded her repertoire to related disciplines including stilt walking, pole dancing, and musical theatre. She is also a dance fitness instructor who teaches Zumba and Oula at Lake Harriet Upper through MPS Community Ed. Dirty Chai

Born and raised in New York, Dirty Chai (she/her) moved to the Twin Cities, bringing her Caribbean roots and love of dance with her. A Monthly Nudie Nubies winner and active member of the local burlesque community, she's incredibly excited to share her love of soca with Minnesota. Growing up, soca was the soundtrack to every family gathering that always led to high-energy dancing, and she's thrilled to bring that same joy, movement, and sense of community to this year's Minnesota Fringe Festival.
