There's nothing more fun at Fringe than short plays by unquestionably talented authors that you never get to actually see. These actors are well-cast and well-dressed for the roles.

While the logline is correct, this show is also a lot more nuanced and layered than I expected. Everyone in Jamie Brickhouse's conservative family seems unusually open and free, which lets the show focus on more personal questions.

I Bet The Cat Shirt Always Wins The Audience Vote
This is a good example of the sort of thing that could only be a live show. It's very inviting, winningly awkward, and all human. This is a one-person show by someone who's unusually good at introducing people to other people. You will get a strong sense of not only who Vera is, but also who the volunteer participants from the audience are.
