Endearing and “Magical”

Jordan’s heartwarming storytelling mixed excellently with his impressive magic tricks! What really stood out to me over other magic I’ve seen is just how soft and sweet Jordan was in his presentation. I really appreciate his kinda dorky demeanor and how he weaved his own vulnerabilities into the show itself. If anything, I’d love more of that!

Disconnect between marketing and product

Creativity 4; Production Value 3; Interest (subjective) 4 Awesome idea: blending his personal story with the magic he learned along the way. Jordan is personable and great stage presence, though some of his magic just didn't land. Maybe this was a new show? Maybe it was the 10pm hour for a traveling artist? Though, beware, it is only about 40 minutes, so you'll easily be able to high-tail it back to the West Bank or Strike if he see Jordan for an earlier show.

Combo of magic and memoir really worked

Jordan had the kind of genial charisma that a good magician needs, and his personal history was woven into the show very well. I found it quite moving, and I loved the ending. The magic was "simple": no disappearing leopards or anything like that are possible at a Fringe show at the Open Eye. But the sleight-of-hand was very deft, and, as with all good magic, looked easier than it was. Highly recommended!

Humble and Fun!

Very humble magic show where Jordan tells a little about his life story through tricks, magic, and jokes. Would absolutely go see with friends, I tried hard not to cry....

A great mix of storytelling with Magic

Perfectly suited for an intimate venue like Open Eye. The tricks were impressive and the close connection between the audience and performer made for a very special show.

Relaxed Magic

Jordan comes to this performance with a cool, comfortable, casual performance style. His love of magic and genuine appreciation for the art is apparent throughout the performance. His magic is confounding, wondrous, and never condescending. He ties his performance together with personal stories that share his path to becoming a wizard. A really wonderful experience for the full family.

Fun and Sweet

Nice variety. Engaging performer. Heartfelt and Heartwarming. And some good magic tricks—one trick in particular knocked our socks off.

Harmless and Magical

I swear, I am being genuine by saying that. The magic was nothing crazy, but that was only half of the show, in my opinion. I did in fact, see, a magician: and it was a good time.
