The laughs started from second one and never let up, thanks to the Emma's outrageously infectious energy and delivery . This is a very funny show with smart points to make about corporate culture and taking stock of your life.

This is the kind of adventurous art that Fringe Festivals are all about. I left the theater buzzing with excitement ready to tell everyone about the incredible show I just saw.

An epic that never stops moving.
This show is so well produced that you could transfer it to the children's theatre with virtually no changes. Something to note is that while the source material has a bit of a reputation for being grim, this show is perfectly suitable to all ages despite a few intense moments. If you are a parent of young children looking to introduce your kids to theatre this is a great show to take them to. An absolute highlight whether you've read the book or not.

The Moodiest atmosphere at Fringe
I am a huge fan of the movie, so I was very excited to see this one. You can tell that this show was adapted by someone who spent a long time thinking about ho to bring the movie to the stage. The art direction and production design of this show are truly exceptional, as is the overall visual direction and storytelling. I would be very interested to see this show revived with a longer running time. A great translation of a classic work.

So far this is my personal pick for best show at the festival. Hopefully this show is eligible for an encore performance at the Phipps so as many people as possible can see this truly remarkable production as possible.

Great music meets hilarious improv
Hats off to the group Dogpile for providing such great music for the cast to riff on! If you miss this at fringe then keep an eye out if this show performs somewhere else in the future.

Utterly hypnotic
Really happy I got to see this one after unfortunately missing it at Horrorfest last year. The effortless sense of dread in every second of this show makes its hour runtime feel like ten minutes.

A great show for all ages
This is a great option for parents who are looking to bring their kids to a fringe show. The whole cast is so much fun to watch, but it must be said that Waluigi steals the show! I seriously think I laughed at every line they said because the readings were perfect. This show also manages to say a lot about how completely bananas the live action mario brothers movie is that this adaptation of it cuts about an hour of plot and yet it somehow makes MORE sense than the original. Hopefully we get a sequel set in Subcon (or on Dinosaur Island, or in Space) sometime in the not too distant future. Wa-Hoo!

Much better than the real thing!
This show does a great job skewering the (frankly grotesque) reality show Love is Blind for everything it is. The cast is also game for anything, and kept a steady stream of laughs coming all hour. Don't stay in watching the Netflix show - go out and watch this improv show instead!

Show: 1 Hour Left to Live: A One Puppet Show by That Felt Good

So glad I saw this show!
This show was late coming off the wait list, but you would hardly know it from how smooth everything felt. I was especially impressed with how natural the main puppeteer was able to do improv while also handling a puppet. My eyes were always on the puppet and not the puppeteer, which is exactly the kind of muppet magic that makes shows like this so fun. Can't wait to see more of this team!

Great energy - especially for so late!
Perhaps the biggest compliment I can give this show is that it introduced me to two improv teams that I was not familiar with - That Felt Good & Good Camel House Team - and it put them on my radar to check them out again in the future. The host was also a lot of fun, and the musical accompaniment really added to the almost midnight movie level of crowd energy. If you like going to screenings of Rocky Horror or The Room then you'll find a lot to like here too.

Very Sweet
This show is like a nice walk with old friends on a warm summer evening. You find yourselves talking about all the good times. Maybe you find yourselves talking about the bad times too. Maybe you even find yourself singing your favorite songs! And maybe you find yourself saying nothing, finding comfort in the stillness as the light gets low and the breeze settles into a perfect rhythm. On a more technical note, this show had a lot of scene transitions, but they were all executed very well. Highly endearing and warm hearted.

Darker than expected, but still a great show
When I first heard the logline for this show I was definitely expecting something light and silly - a good old fashioned throwback to those cheesy beach party movies with a chaotic beach boys meets earthquake flavor. There definitely is a lot of silliness in this show still, but i was surprised to see how much it dealt with darker psychological themes. This is by no means a complaint! Everything was well executed and I thought the message was very moving. One last thing: The movement and choreography is incredible! Can't wait to see more from Dame Right in the future.

Engaging and thought provoking.
Always love seeing the creative dance shows at Fringe. This is a very well done show that smartly interweaves it's broader thematic points with its engaging choreography. I wasn't expecting to leave the theater reflecting on such a simple question - "What does 'home' mean to you", but I did wind up thinking about that question a lot on the way out. Highly recommended.

Very intimate and well done.
A very nice show about characters who know exactly what they want to do, but how to do it is trickier than it seems. I really enjoyed the auctioneer and bidding on the items. In fact, if they ever reprise this show somewhere I would like to maybe see even more of that element. Milk Rat always does such great puppets in their shows.

Silly and Soapy!
You don't need to be a longtime Soap Opera watcher to enjoy this show, but it if you are then all the better! The cast has great chemistry and did a really remarkable job at juggling all of the plot points that kept being created.

The difference between lying and playing pretend
This show is not what i expected, but i really enjoyed it! The audience interaction felt great, and on a personal note I had a very nice experience where the lead channeled my cat who recently passed. Obviously the whole thing is just pretend for the show, but it did feel oddly nice to hear from my little pal again even in a knowingly make believe context. The experience really tied in nicely with something brought up earlier in the show about the difference between lying and playing pretend: Lying is one person trying to deceive another; playing pretend is where two (or more) people mutually agreeing to accept a made up scenario. Sounds an awful lot like Theatre at it's core now that you mention it. Highly recommended.

This show is a blast! The cast energy was great for such a late night show. Definitely recommend seeing with friends.
